Central Truth

We can pray for protection from our enemies and be confident that God will answer that prayer, because of His lovingkindness. But we must remain at God's side, not wavering or being lukewarm. We cannot be hid from our enemies if we are far from the Lord.

Reflections

Pray to God because we know He will answer us. Trust God and be saved from your enemies. We are safe from our enemies when we stay by God's side. He protects us as He would protect His own eye from harm. He protects us with His power from the attacks of our enemies, from people who are trying to destroy us.

How blessed we are to have such a loving, powerful and protective God. All through Scripture the Lord tells us to pray, so that He can answer us. Otherwise, why pray? The Scriptures also tell us that God has, and will, protect us from our enemies. The ultimate price was paid by Jesus so that we could be free from the domain of darkness, from the grip of our enemy, Satan, and all his devious ways.

The Lord has done His part for us and we must do ours. That is to stay in fellowship with Him and pray, for He has given us power over all our enemies through Jesus Christ. Through His sovereignty and grace He will protect us and answer our prayer for protection by His power.

3. Have you strayed away from God's fellowship sometime in your life? I think we all have. What happened?
4. You, being the apple of God's eye, are in an immense position to receive protection, have your prayers answered, and have victory over all the power of the enemy. Now would be a good time to give Him the praise due Him. Go ahead, start today.
